Study under progress: --

• The National Science, Technology & Management Information System (NSTMIS), division of DST, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India recently entrusted the study "To assess the impact of Foreign Collaborations on Indian Industry in the Liberalized Era".

• Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology Jointly with Department of Commerce, Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Govt. of India promoting Technology Cooperation & Trade between India & Africa under International Technology Transfer & Market Assess Initiative Scheme. This project recently awarded to NAFEN to be arrange 12 MOUs, which covering 10 African Countries in 17 Industrial Sectors. This study is covering following objectives:-

  • To identify specific Indian suppliers whose technologies, projects and products have relevance to African region.

  • To identify specific collaborating agencies and business partners in the African region; and

  • To facilitate one-to-one interaction, signing of 12 MOUs, etc. between the suppliers and buyers for project implementation in their countries with the help of Indian organizations’ technological know how etc.

Long Term Technical Cooperation Agreement - R & D Project Progress

a) Indo-Vietnamese Inter-Governmental Science & Technology Program (1999-2000)

Under Indo-Vietnam Inter-Governmental Science & Technology Programme, NAFEN has developed the prototypes of Telephone Counter jointly with Vietnam Institute of R&D in Electronics, Informatics & Automation (VIELINA), Honoi.

b) Indo-Vietnamese Inter-Governmental Science & Technology Program (2002-2004)

Under Indo-Vietnam Inter-Governmental Science & Technology Programme, NAFEN is developing prototype of Auto Ecology Meter jointly with Vietnam Institute of R&D in Electronics, Informatics & Automation (VIELINA), Honoi, which will indicate the condition of exhaust gases in the atmospheres at any point of time.
