The Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad (RVPSP), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Ministry of Science a Technology, Government of India has sponsored the above study to National Foundation of Indian Engineers (NAFEN), New Delhi.

NAFEN is conducting the above study at national level through structured questionnaire. Data will be collected from on an average 260 organizations (1300 female workers) per sector) will cover Micro, Small and Medium enterprises and prepare the health and safety manuals applicable to identified sectors. In this study NAFEN will target apart from industry the ESI hospitals; trade associations and R&D Lab in these industial sectors also.

Information furnished by the organisations will be used only for planning and decision making exercises and will be used for preparation of the Health and Safety Manuals for your Industry. These manuals will go a long way in improving the quality of life of the women workers in your industry and enhancing their productivity. Also no inter organization comparisons will be carried out. .
